Hello, everyone! I know we're all excited to see the new offerings from the St. Charles Market Needlework Show! We'll be headed there in a couple of days and will bring back a truckload of goodies. While we wait (Yours Truly doesn't get to go because I have a dreary "regular" day job), let's take a look at some of the newest shop models. I should mention that I didn't jot down the names of all of them, but if you have questions, please call the shop at 703-360-4600, and they'll tell you what they are. If you see the white tag with the number on it, you can provide the number: those are our model numbers, so that we can easily find the chart for you.
I know the first one though! (Because I'm stitching it too, having seen Candie working on the shop model seen here.) "Winter at Beacon House," by Praiseworthy Stitches. Isn't it wonderful?
Closeup One:
Closeup Two:
By Country Cottage Needleworks: "Count Your Blessings."
"Count Twice Stitch Once" by Plum Street Samplers:
"Rabbit Alphabet" by JBW Designs.
"Paper Snowflakes" by With Thy Needle and Thread.
"Garden Sheep" by Shepherd's Bush.
I don't know the designer or name of this chart, but it's both elegant and fun. Gold beads!
By Prairie Schooler, obviously. But which one?????
"Old Town Sampler" by The Nebby Needle.
"Wool Willi" by Jeannette Douglas Designs.
These are great shirts, and I love the feminine cut (and of course, the sentiment). Men's straight cut tee shirts look bad on me.
"Hope" by The Nebby Needle.
Some darling stitched stockings. Question is: What are their names, and who designed them?
I hope you are tempted by some of these designs while you wait!
For questions or to order, please call 703-360-4600. We are located at 8800F Pear Tree Village in the Mount Vernon section of Alexandria. We will be showcasing the St. Charles Market goodies at our next stitch night, on August 20, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Our regular hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and the first Sunday of each month from 12:30 to 4:30. Stitch Nights are the first and third Wednesday of each month, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Happy Stitching!
