Happy April! Ellen came back from the Dallas needlepoint show with lots of new canvases, including these two. I love them both!
We have lots of new cross stitch patterns in the shop. "Surrey House Sampler" by Rosewood Manor:
This adorable little pattern is a freebie by Cricket Collection with the purchase of the button ("Sophia's Bunny Button"). It's charted for DMC:
We'd like to show you some classics that we have available in the shop also. Prairie Schooler's "Two By Two" and "Two By Two II." I want to stitch these as Christmas ornaments. We're getting an early start--wouldn't it be fun to stitch the ark and the animals and give them as a gift set to a new bride and groom?
And I've wanted to stitch this Permin chart forever: "Dutch Beauty."
How about a little stitched gift for the new grad? This is by Homespun Elegance.
"Welcome Home" by Rosewood Manor. The photo of the fabric I chose to go with it doesn't really show how wonderful it is--Wichelt 28 count Country French Cashmere. It's creamy and rich and so satisfying. While I'm normally a 40-count girl, I definitely plan to buy some of this fabric (and this chart and the buttons). Note how beautifully the WDW "Baby's Breath" shows up.
A little sidetrip to the knitting aisle: "Windward" by Prism yarns. It's cotton and rayon--perfect for a summer project.
Just Another Button Company's latest little pin cushion (with pins): "Betty Bee."
This is a heavy little sand?-filled pillow that works beautifully to hold down your fluttering pages as you stitch outside.
A little snapped fabric tray to hold your stuff (somehow my scissors always work their way down into the sofa cushions if I don't put them somewhere).
Lots of new Walker mesh bags. Sturdy, fashionable--you don't have to limit them to carrying needlework.
We have a variety of adorable and useful needle minders. I love this cat.
And the cupcake and bug.
We have this new Little House sampler in the shop--"The Louisa B. Snow Sampler."
And by Country Cottage Needleworks, the new April cottage.
And this classic April chart:
Blackbird Designs' beautiful "Mary Ann Blackburn" has arrived. We are showing the chart with two beautiful choices from Lakeside Linens: 32 count Luna (top) and 36 count Sand Dune. We love how the fiber colors pop on these beautiful pale yellow fabrics.
Also in the shop by Blackbird Designs are these classics: "My Missouri Home" and
"Mildred's Garden House."
