Barreling Ahead

Greetings!  I can hardly believe it's nearly Independence Day, but as always, we have a nice collection of patriotic samplers and projects here at In Stitches.  I purchased this for myself; although there are other designs that are similar, but somehow, I find the tall, skinny building and rippling flag and vine extra pleasing.  Charted for overdyed threads.  Every year I say I'm going to stitch a bunch of Independence Day pin pillows and little samplers.  I have a few, but not nearly enough!
This cutie is a very quick stitch--from Shepherd's Bush.
Plum Street's designs are lovely, and full of humor and joy. "George and Martha."
And "Winsome Pair."
Little House Needleworks' "Old Glory."
"Snapper's Branch--Eagle of Freedom" by Bent Creek.
"Ricardo's Roses," by the Drawn Thread.
Two new Scarlet Letters: "Katharine Mitchel" and
"Ann Short." I purchased this. Love the bunnies and birds.
"Heaven in a Wildflower" by Rosewood Manor.
We have some new shop models: "Joie de Vivre" by JBW Designs.
"A & E" by With Thy Needle and Thread.
"Good Intentions" by Kathy Barrick.
From stitch night--our customers are working on: (we may not be able to get these designs for you, and I may not remember the names correctly!) This is a Joan Elliott stitchalong:
My photo doesn't do this lovely piece justice. It's a birth sampler, stitched on by Diane. I don't know who the designer is, or the name of the pattern, but they'd know at the shop (703-360-4600)
By Homespun Elegance, such an adorable fob--stitched by Carol M.
I do not know who the designer of this pattern is, or what it's called, but what lovely work, with the specialty stitches, the gorgeous colors and the beadwork.
Chessie and Me's "Noel House."
Finally finished--stitched by me (I believe we still have this pattern in the shop): "Winter Welcome" by Country Cottage Needleworks.
And some more progress on Samplers Revisited's "Jane Clarkson."
We are located at 8800 F Pear Tree Village in the Mount Vernon section of Alexandria. Our phone number, for orders or questions, is 703-360-4600. We are open from 10 a.m.to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 12:30-4:30 on the first Sunday of each month. 1. Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Fiore from Italia. I wanted to tell you that "Summertime" pattern is from Cuore e Batticuore not from Madame Chantilly. Anyway, they're both Italian designers.
    Ciao
